Recommending books based on Twilight’s soundtrack

If you’ve been reading my last few monthly wrap-ups, you might have noticed that I’ve been obsessed with Twilight’s soundtrack. I think it is exceptionally good, I usually don’t have a strong connection to movie scores, but this one is just so perfect. So, while listening to its songs, I wanted to get creative and do a songs as books kind of post. These matches are more based on emotions and feelings associated with the scenes in which the songs took place, so they are really random.

November wrap-up // It’s Taylor Swift’s world, we’re just living in it

November felt like a whole year. Not going to lie, it was not an enjoyable month for me, my mental health hasn’t been the best, and that is an understatement. I basically just want to skip to Christmas, and then to spring. Even though I’m technically a winter baby, I have never really loved that season, to be honest. Yes, it has its beauties, but the cons outweigh the pros for me at least. On another note, I thought I’d add a little new thing to my wrap-ups. I’ve seen this at Caro’s wrap-ups, emojis that indicate certain things, like if I’ve read the book as an audiobook, etc. I’ve always loved that idea, and I wanted to try it. Recommending queer books based on BTS biases

I am super excited for today’s post, as I had it written for weeks now! I remembered one day in October that my BTS anniversary was in November, and I wanted to come up with a special post for it. I chose November 13, as that was when I made my BTS Spotify playlist, haha. I knew I wanted to do a recommendation post, but I didn’t exactly know what kind, then I remembered that I haven’t made a queer post in a while. So now, I am going to recommend books with LGBTQ+ characters based on your BTS bias! I hope you enjoy it, I certainly had fun writing!

June wrap-up // I read a lot and I discovered a new favourite k-pop band

Long time no see, huh? Sorry for disappearing from this blog, but I wasn’t really feeling like blogging, more on the reasons why later. But the main thing is that now I’m here to share my June wrap-up! I read a lot, the most in 2021, so I’m happy about that. I’m not so glad that a huge chunk of my reads was just okay, not really marvellous. But that’s just how it is sometimes.

Reading It Queer tbr

I knew I wanted to participate in a Pride-themed read-a-thon in June, but the one I did last year (Pride-a-thon) isn’t going to be held this year, so I was afraid that there will be no month-long read-a-thons. Thankfully, a friend of mine showed me this one, Reading It Queer, which looks awesome! I prefer month-long read-a-thons, as that way I have enough time to finish my books. Reading It Queer is organised by Eloise Reads on Instagram, you can find the announcement post HERE!
